About Rev Meemie

My spiritual journey started at a very young age. I just seemed to KNOW things. People were drawn to my calm and quiet presence, and listening to others became second nature. And it still is.

The twists and turns of my life led me in different directions including leading and managing people, but I no longer resonated with organized religion and the Presbyterian Church in which I grew up. While I never doubted the existence of a Divine Presence, I still felt a longing to reconnect with my inner knowing. So my spiritual journey began anew in my late thirties.

Through Unity churches, I began exploring metaphysics and spirituality, or the fundamental principles of the source and nature of all things. My heart felt at home with the Unity movement’s foundational principles of prayer and meditation, and I rediscovered my intuitive inner knowing of my childhood.

My passion for prayer and meditation led me to One Spirit Interfaith Seminary where I studied and felt kinship with the practices of the major religions of the world: Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and Indigenous Religions.

My heart sings when I connect one-on-one with people through conversation, prayer and ritual. Together we uncover the heart and soul’s longings whether the journey is religious or non-religious.

I perform ceremonies and workshops through Rev Meemie Lohmueller Ministry and Bilingual Ceremonies, and I am currently the Pastoral Care Minister at Unity of the Triangle.
